The Outcast’s Bloghouse Welcomes… Ashutosh

This week’s member inducted into The Oucast’s Bloghouse is WordPress’s own melancholic poet Ashutosh (of Man’s Poetry).

The very secretive Mister of poetry has captured the WP community in only a few short months of popping up and has scored himself a number of WP awards. Ashutosh is a master of poetry, writing ballad-like poetry to his special someone, as well as musings and commentary on the world and his feelings, all with a lyrical, whimsical if slightly melancholic air. When queried “why do you write?” Ashutosh claims;

“[I am] writing to fight my depression and anxiety. [I] don’t have any degree in writing and haven’t written any books but I love writing, and also love to be in a community of writers because I [would] love to get introduced to other writers.”

This student who has yet to reveal his face to the community further comments;“I am not a good writer but I just want to put my feelIngs out for people to know how I feel. I hope you understand.”
I, for one, would denounce this comment and say that Ashutosh’s poetry is moving and alive with feeling and imagery. See for yourself in this selection of a few of my favourite pieces; Writer, To My Toy, To My Bro.
