Burning the Candle

Howdy all,

I’m burning the candle very much at both ends right now. I’ve started my new job (manager of a retirement village with my co-manager and husband, Andrew), and am well and truly in the throes of moving house (it’s a ‘live-in’ position).

So by day I’m learning the names of 150+ residents, learning how to run a retirement village, unpacking stuff into the new house at lunchtime, and packing up new carloads to go across by night.

All this means I have had no time for writing or blogging and don’t know when I will next. But I am happy to report that I am really enjoying the new position; the residents of the village are so warm and welcoming, and I’m thouroughly enjoying working with hubby again.

So, exhausted and tired I may be, absent for the moment too, but I will be back one day!
