I’m absolutely thrilled to have a chance to see the Love & Desire Exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia, at Canberra, in March. This exhibition showcases nearly 80 pieces of truly breathtakingly beautiful art.
Of course I’m talking about the works of the Pre-Raphaelite Masters on loan from the Tate Gallery.
I have been a huge fan of Pre-Raphaelite art since my teens when I first found the works of John Everett Millais (both his written and painted pieces). To me, these pieces are the very epitome of art. Suffice it to say, this is an exhibition I am dying to see.
For those out there unfamiliar with Pre-Raphaelite works, indulge your senses and check out some of these links…

You have my envy – I love the Pre-Raphaelites, but for one reason or other, I never managed to get to a proper show of their paintings. Enjoy yourself!

I will! And it sounds so classy too; I. Heading to Canberra to take in a pre Raphaelite exhibition… far better than my usual weekend… I sat in my underwear and played video games for eight hours 🤪
